1. Introduction
If you have questions that are not addressed on this page, feel free to contact our customer service. Below is the description of the relationship between Smart Minis and you.
Before using the Smart Minis app, you are encouraged to read the terms and conditions, as by using the app, you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.
Smart Minis offers a subscription service that provides access to the entire Smart Minis app’s digital universe via the App Store and Google Play.
2. Free trial
First-time users have the option to start a 7-day free trial. The trial period allows you to try the app before committing to a paid subscription.
Subscribers to Smart Minis have ongoing subscriptions that are paid in advance and continue until canceled. Payment is made via the provided payment method (credit card) and is billed after the free trial period ends, unless the subscription is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period.
Smart Minis may at any time choose not to offer this trial period, or revoke an ongoing trial period if there is suspicion of fraud or misuse, including misrepresentation of status as a first-time user. If Smart Minis determines that you do not meet the conditions, Smart Minis may terminate your free trial period and suspend your account.
3. Cancellation of free trial or subscription
If you wish to cancel your free trial or subscription and started your trial or subscription through an app store (in-app purchase), you must also cancel it via the same app store. Similarly, you can only cancel your trial period or subscription on the Smart Minis website if you originally purchased the subscription from the website.
To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the end of your free trial or billing period. If you do not do so, your account will automatically be charged for the subscription you selected when registering as a user.
If you purchased your subscription through an app-store (in-app purchase), the conditions for subscriptions and cancellations are governed by Apple or Google.
You can manage your subscription registered through the App Store/Google Play by going to your app store account settings and turning off “automatic renewal.”
4. Smart Minis account
When you create an account with Smart Minis, we register the information you provide. Your information is primarily used to complete the action for which the information was collected. Additionally, the information is used for marketing our products, unless you opt out.
5. Payment methods
To use the Smart Minis app, you must provide a valid payment method (either via in-app purchase or Stripe if the purchase is made on the website). You grant Smart Minis permission to charge payments via the payment method you provided. If a payment cannot be processed and you do not delete your account, Smart Minis may suspend your account until the payment is completed through a valid payment method.
If the payment is made as an in-app purchase, the payment method can be updated by going to your App Store account settings, via Apple or Google.
If the payment is made on the Smart Minis website, the payment method can be updated by logging into your account and editing the payment card details.
6. Price and subscription changes
Smart Minis may make price and subscription changes for non-billed subscriptions with 30 days’ notice. The notice will be sent via email to the email address you provided when entering into the trial period or subscription agreement. This means that if you have paid for a subscription period, any new price or subscription changes will take effect only after the already paid subscription period has ended. It is your responsibility to check your email (including spam/junk folders) for notification emails from Smart Minis regarding changes.
7. Your password and account access
You are responsible for ensuring that the account information you provided when creating a Smart Minis account (username and password) does not become accessible to third parties, including any consequences arising from it. Never share your username and password with third parties. If you suspect misuse, immediately contact Smart Minis customer service and your card provider.
8. Refunds
Smart Minis does not have access to your payment information when you purchase your subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Therefore, Smart Minis cannot process your refund. Instead, you must contact Apple App Store Support if you are using an Apple device, or Google Play support if you are using an Android device and wish to request a refund within the guidelines defined by the app store provider.
9. Complaint options
If you wish to file a complaint about your purchase and bought your subscription through Apple or Google, you must contact Apple App Store Support if you are using an Apple device, or Google Play support if you are using an Android device, as they handle the subscription service.
